Ardmore Ceramic Art is well-known for its vibrant use of color and energetic designs inspired by African and European images. In its 25th anniversary year, Ardmore is also branching out into new territory with a new figurative collection entitled ‘Travelers of Africa’. Ardmore sculptors have excelled themselves by juxtaposing magnificent wild beasts with African figures. Fee Halsted, the founder of Ardmore, wanted to pay tribute to all the pioneers who explored her magical continent of Africa over the centuries.

Miami, FL – October 27, 2010 Fee Halsted, the founder of Ardmore Ceramic Art, will be the guest of honor at a weekend Celebration of Ceramic Art & Collectibles at the Vinoy Renaissance St Petersburg Resort on December 4th and 5th, 2010. Hosted by Pascoe and Company of Miami, this event will feature a spectacular selling exhibition of Ardmore Ceramic Art from South Africa, together with art pottery and figurines from famous British companies, including Royal Doulton and Moorcroft. Fèe Halsted-Berning, the founder of Ardmore Ceramic Art from South Africa, was a guest of honor at the 2010 Florida show, together with two of her artists, modeler Victor Shabalala and painter Happiness Sibisi. The Ardmore team gave demonstrations and master-classes and introduced their latest work, including some novel bird jars inspired by the Victorian Martin Brothers.
