Louise Irvine – Biography
Pascoe and Company is delighted to welcome Louise Irvine to Miami. Louise is the leading expert on Royal Doulton wares and the author of many books on the subject. She has worked with Ed Pascoe for the last 20 years from her London office and now she has decided to live in Miami Beach with her husband, George, “We are enjoying our new home in the Florida sunshine”, says Louise. “Now that I am based in the USA, I am looking forward to visiting many more American collectors on my travels.”

Ed Pascoe runs a thriving ceramic arts and antiques business in Miami, Florida specializing in Royal Doulton and other fine china collectibles. His business was born when he visited England on a High School trip in March 1969. Although he was only 16 years old, he had already developed an interest in antique pottery thanks to his aunt who was a keen Wedgwood collector. With more than 40 years in the business, Pascoe and Company has created very close relationships with the major British potteries and this has enabled us to commission many limited edition pieces especially for our collectors. Over the years we have worked with Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, Dennis Chinaworks and Andrew Hull and more recently our own Connoisseur Collection. Our figure of Pope John Paul II, commissioned from Royal Doulton a few years ago, is now back in the news again since the announcement of the beatification of His Holiness on May 1st. The Jester was modeled by Robert Tabbenor, whose name is familiar to Doulton collectors as the designer of many figurines and character jugs.
