With more than 40 years in the business, Pascoe and Company has created very close relationships with the major British potteries and this has enabled us to commission many limited edition pieces especially for our collectors. Over the years we have worked with Royal Doulton, Moorcroft, Dennis Chinaworks and Andrew Hull and more recently our own Connoisseur Collection. Our figure of Pope John Paul II, commissioned from Royal Doulton a few years ago, is now back in the news again since the announcement of the beatification of His Holiness on May 1st. Sally Tuffin was a famous fashion designer in the swinging sixties with a boutique off Carnaby Street in London. She switched from making frocks to designing pots in the 1980s and used her expertise with dress making patterns to create ‘outfits’ for vases. After helping to revitalize the Moorcroft Pottery, she turned her attention to her own ‘label’ and for the last ten years she has concentrated on designing for the Dennis Chinaworks. Each year, she also launches a collection of unique new designs at Bonhams in London and they are acquired by collectors for thousands of pounds each.

Sally is the wife of Richard Dennis, the art pottery dealer and publisher who bought Moorcroft in 1986, together with the current Chairman Hugh Edwards. Sally was an acclaimed fashion designer, famous for her trend-setting Carnaby Street boutique in the swinging 1960s. She faced an exciting new challenge at Moorcroft, designing art pottery for the first time and following in the footsteps of the illustrious William, whose work was avidly collected all over the world. Her ambition was to continue the traditional Moorcroft decorating techniques but revitalize the designs to appeal to a new audience of Moorcroft collectors. She succeeded
