Bunnykins

Bunnykins figurines were inspired by Royal Doulton’s famous nursery ware, designed in the 1930s by Barbara Vernon, a young nun who was the daughter of the company’s managing director. Sister Mary Barbara first designed the rabbit family to entertain the children she taught at an English convent school and her father recognized the potential of the drawings. In 1972, the first Bunnykins character models were inspired by the best-selling nursery ware designs and more than 500 figurines have been issued in the Bunnykins DB series
